Fortnite’s latest update released on March 8th with a new event in tow: The Avian Ambush Week. This event revolves around birds – chickens, more specifically – and how players will interact with them in Fortnite. That’ll look somewhat similar to how players already interact with them which involves hunting them down, but the catch is that they’ll be fighting back now when they’re attacked. The benefits for players in this event consist of extra loot via the addition of a new feature as well as a series of Avian Ambush Week challenges players can complete for some extra experience....

Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update VI is now live, adding new locations to explore in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The update was revealed last month during Xbox’s Gamescom Showcase event, and is free to all users! From what Xbox has revealed thus far, the imagery looks really impressive, adding 100 famous locations, as well as new airports. Shovel Knight developer Yacht Club Games has announced a special stream set to take place next week on G4’s Twitch channel. Rare Ltd. has revealed Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life, a free expansion featuring Jack Sparrow and the cast of Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Releasing as a free update on June 22nd, the expansion features Johnny Depp’s iconic likeness, though it’s unclear if he’ll be reprising his role. This time around it’s Koska Reeves, Migs Mayfeld (Morak) and Axe Woves figures in The Vintage Collection, which are inspired by their appearance in the Star Wars: The Mandalorian series on Disney+. There’s also a Black Series figure of Black Krrsantan, which is based on the character in the comics – not the version that recently appeared on The Book of Boba Fett....

Sword Art Online: Progressive is a special spin-off of the main series written by original series creator Reki Kawahara himself as it shares a much closer look at Kirito and Asuna’s respective journeys through the Aincrad floors initially skipped over in that first series.
