Outriders has revealed the patch notes for the game’s first big update. Unfortunately, those on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S are going to need to wait a bit longer for this patch. Taking to Steam and Reddit, developer People Can Fly previewed the first big update coming to the game, which isn’t dropping today or tomorrow, but sometime next week. Some viewers noticed a seeming plot hole in Hawkeye’s Rogers The Musical. A lot of fans are loving the Broadway version of The Battle of New York, but questions persist. Clint Barton takes his family to see the show, and even lampshades the inconsistency for the audience. Ant-Man is in the musical number, but he wasn’t even around in the 2012 film. Studio Ghibli and Pokemon have both been in the news a lot lately, with the former releasing their latest feature-length film in Earwig And The Witch and the latter looking to add its twenty-third movie to its collection in Pokemon: Coco, and it looks like another headline has arrived thanks to a snow festival utilizing colorful characters from both anime legends. The anime characters that were utilized in these unique snow creations coming out of Japan include the Catbus from Studio Ghibli’s My Neighbor Totoro, the ancient Pokemon known as Mew, and everyone’s favorite ridiculous pocket monster in Magikarp....

Often times when we hear about studio notes and memos for classic films, think Back to the Future and Blade Runner as notable examples, it’s because persons involved in the production or release didn’t think it would be successful and didn’t believe in it. Though there were certainly people involved in George Lucas’ classic film Star Wars, memos from 20th Century Fox have surfaced online revealing that a lot of people new that the movie was going to be a hit a year before the movie (later retitled to include the “Episode IV: A New Hope” subtitle) was even released....

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences’ Board of Governors has decided to meet this Friday (April 8th) in order to discuss what actions and/or consequences should be taken against Will Smith for slapping Chris Rock during the Oscars. That meeting was originally scheduled for April 18th but was rescheduled after the surprising turn of Will Smith opting to resign from The Academy this week. The fallout of the “Slap Heard ‘Round the World” has been ongoing as the public continues to debate what happened between Smith and Rock – and what should be done about it....

The Matrix 4 star Carrie-Anne Moss opened up about how quickly she got offered Grandma roles. She spoke to Justine Bateman about the experience of turning 40 during the 92nd Street Y event. Moss is now 53, and her biggest role has been in The Matrix franchise. But, some of her comments here could explain why she seemed to disappear from some of these lead roles basically overnight. Moss told her friend that the literal day she turned 40, scripts began coming in for Grandma roles....

Becky Lynch wasn’t too impressed with Charlotte Flair’s latest comments about how she’s viewed backstage in WWE. Weeks removed from their infamous “Championship Exchange” and the shouting match that reportedly occurred backstage afterwards, Flair spoke with BT Sport and combatted the recent reports that she’s “difficult” to work with backstage. “The Queen” said, “If I was a man would it rub people the wrong way? With all of the rain that hit Raymond James Stadium, the WrestleMania 37 entrance ramp was incredibly slippery during Night One on Saturday night. Mandy Rose was an unfortunate victim of that during the women’s tag team turmoil match as the camera caught her slipping and falling backwards as she and Dana Brooke made their way down the ring. Fans were still talking about it on social media long after she and Brooke were eliminated from the match....

Captain Harlock has been one of the oldest, most recognizable anime characters to have ever been developed in the medium, predating the likes of Mobile Suit Gundam, Dragon Ball, and numerous other series, and now the space pirate will be making his way to the West with an upcoming comic book series by Ablaze Publishing. First appearing in the manga series in 1977, Space Pirate Captain Harlock, the space-faring adventurer has traversed several anime series and feature-length films over the decades, and now, the upcoming comic book series will see the return of series creator Leiji Matsumoto....

Infinity Ward has kicked off the marketing cycle for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II in style at the NFL Draft 2022. Earlier this week, Infinity Ward showed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II to some of the NFL Draft prospects, resulting in some positive first impressions. Although nothing too specific was shared, it sounds like it’s going to be yet another epic blockbuster of a game. Following up on this first look for the athletes, Infinity Ward officially announced Modern Warfare II on Twitter with a new teaser trailer and logo reveal....

We’re just a few weeks out from the debut of DC’s Stargirl’s second season and now The CW has released an extended trailer offering fans a glimpse of what’s next for Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl (Brec Bassinger) and the rest of the new Justice Society of America following the defeat of the Injustice Society in Season 1. Of course, it’s that defeat of the Injustice Society that puts Courtney and her fellow heroes on different paths, at least initially....

Though most of PlayStation’s latest State of Play event was focused on third-party and indie games less recognizable than Sony’s first-party titles, the PlayStation and PC game Death Stranding did make an appearance. Sony and Kojima Productions showed off more info on Death Stranding: Director’s Cut and, more importantly, announced its release date. The new version of Death Stranding will release on September 24th and will be available exclusively on the PlayStation 5....

Genshin Impact developer miHoYo has offered a free gift to all players thanks to a technical glitch that duplicated some rewards sent out for the ongoing Lantern Rite event. According to the developer, “a configuration issue with the in-game mail” caused some folks on some servers to end up with two copies of a recent gift of one Intertwined Fate, five Golden Crabs, and six Sanctifying Unctions. While the latter two items aren’t that big of a deal, Intertwined Fate is part of the in-game digital currency used to pull for characters and weapons....

May the 4th might be a day most people associate with Star Wars, but it’s also an important date in Marvel history. On this day ten years ago, The Avengers hit theatres. At the time, it was the first major team up in the MCU and saw Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) fighting Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and saving the day in the Battle of New York....

Speeding up the home debut of movies in the era of day-and-date streaming releases has become common for Disney, with films like Luca arriving much sooner than expected. Last night was a busy night on NXT, with several storylines coming to a head and solidifying matches for the upcoming TakeOver: In Your House by the end of the night. That of course started with the big return of Adam Cole, who took out all of the No. 1 Contenders who were trying to cement their chance to take on Karrion Kross for his NXT Championship. It resulted in a verbal sparring match between Kross and Cole, and Cole wasn’t backing down at all, calling Kross overrated....

Night One WrestleMania 37 officially got underway on time at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Saturday night. Unfortunately, after an opening introduction from Vince McMahon and a musical performance by Bebe Rexha, Michael Cole announced that a rain delay would force the start of the show to be delayed. A separate storm hit the stadium hours before the show, forcing fans who were already in the stadium to take cover while fans were backed up trying to get inside the building....
