Simu Liu first became known for his role in the hit sitcom Kim’s Convenience, but really rose to fame when he was cast as the titular hero in Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Disney Parks just revealed when their Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel story takes place in the series’ timeline. It’s more recent in the timeline than you might think. Apparently, the Halcyon is designed to be a remastered version of the first Starcruiser to visit Baatu, the site of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge in the parks. That means, things take place roughly around the end of The Last Jedi and before The Rise of Skywalker for those playing at home....
Today, employees of Activision Blizzard studio Raven Software voted in favor of becoming just the second video game union in North America. The Game Workers Alliance is comprised of a group of quality assurance testers that have been fighting for better working conditions. Unionization efforts began late last year, and Activision Blizzard has been accused of undermining those efforts since. The company refused to voluntarily recognize the GWA, which prompted today’s vote....

Dungeons & Dragons will soon encounter their most terrifying monster yet - a singing mushroom. Later this month, Wizards of the Coast is set to release The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, a new full-length Dungeons & Dragons campaign set in the Feywild. Several websites are releasing previews of The Wild Beyond the Witchlight ahead of its release, one of which has revealed the return of a “classic” monster. Kotaku revealed that the campestri, an actual singing mushroom, is returning to D&D for the first time since Second Edition....
Gintama’s creator has shared a full look at his take on Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s Hashira. One of the more hilarious lead-ins to the premiere of the franchise’s final anime film, Gintama: The Final, is that Gintama creator Hideaki Sorachi is offering fans who see the film a new sketch of characters not from his own series, but Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba instead. As a reference to how well Demon Slayer’s debut theatrical film outing, Mugen Train, is doing in theaters in Japan, Sorachi got a bit cheeky with his own film....

The newest season of a beloved FX series is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Scores of fans have been loving Atlanta’s big return to the screen. Apparently, that wild premiere episode did nothing to slow the momentum as the series sits at 98% on the Tomatometer. Now, that is a staggering number when put into context. It’s pretty hard in this age of the Internet to have anything reach this level of approval....
Star Wars: Squadrons is coming to Electronic Arts’ EA Play subscription service on March 18th, the publisher announced this week. By extension, that means that it’ll also be included in certain Xbox Game Pass subscriptions on the same day. It’ll be included in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC versions of Xbox’s service since EA Play is part of those at no extra cost, but it won’t be included in the base Xbox Game Pass subscription....

A crew member was taken to the hospital after an injury on the set of Tales of the Walking Dead, the anthology spinoff set in AMC’s Walking Dead Universe. Deadline reports the injury happened on Monday night after the production day ended at Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta, Georgia, where the six-episode first season has been filming since late January. The crew member is believed to be in stable condition after falling off a deck and hitting the water below, sources tell Deadline....

But the “Spanish God’s” celebration was short-lived, as Scorpio Sky and America’s Top Team quickly surrounded the ring and attacked. A returning Chris Jericho and Jake Hager ran out to make the save for their fellow Inner Circle member, forcing Dan Lambert & co. to retreat. He then announced on the Oct. 15 edition of AEW Rampage, taking place in Miami, it would be Guevara, Jericho and Hager against Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos in a six-man tag match....
In a truly surprising move, Limited Run Games today announced Bill & Ted’s Excellent Retro Collection, a compilation featuring two old-school games that first released on the Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy. The collection includes Bill & Ted’s Excellent Video Game Adventure and Bill & Ted’s Excellent Game Boy Adventure: A Bogus Journey. Pre-orders for the collection will go on sale June 9th, and will be offered on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch....
