A new Grand Theft Auto announcement from Rockstar Games has left GTA fans upset over GTA 6. Today, the next big GTA Online content update – featuring GTA 5’s Franklin and Dr. Dre – was announced, and ever since then, GTA 6 has been trending on Twitter. If anyone thought, for some reason, that GTA Online was going anywhere or that support for it would start to slow down, well, today’s announcement was a reminder that this isn’t happening anytime soon....

As movies go, 2007’s Bee Movie is an odd one. The animated film follows honey bee Barry B. Benson who sues the human race for exploiting bees upon learning from his human friend Vanessa Bloome - yes, Barry can talk to humans - that humans sell and consume honey and while the premise is a is a little unusual, it’s the relationship between Barry and Vanessa that raised a few eyebrows....

Over the years, the titles published by DC Comics have provided some truly iconic covers, with distinct visual tropes that have been homaged and parodied over and over again. Among them is Kevin Maguire’s 1987 cover for Justice League International #1, which was marked by the now-ubiquitous image of its team members standing on a white background, looking up at the reader with an array of facial expressions. The iconography of the cover has been taken into countless other comics, television, and pop culture as a whole, with Maguire himself even contributing to the pastiches....

Filmmaker Kevin Smith took to social media today to reveal the first in a series of promotional images for Clerks III, counting down to the film’s official trailer release on Wednesday, giving fans their first look at many of Smith’s “View Askewniverse” characters since Clerks II in 2006. In spite of having a major studio distribute the film – something that Smith has not sought for his last few movies – the filmmaker is still doing a roadshow tour with the picture, and will put tickets on sale for the first handful of cities when the trailer drops....

Comics legend George Perez announced that he has inoperable cancer this week. The Marvel and DC Comics artist broke the news directly to his fans on Facebook. On social media, the outpouring of support has already begun as millions have been inspired by his work on multiple titles. Fans remember his classic stints with Teen Titans, Wonder Woman, Avengers, and many more. In his letter on Facebook, he mentioned a similar tribute surge after he announced his retirement from comics back in 2019....

Anthony Mackie, star of the upcoming Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, is now appearing in a new Xbox Series X|S commercial. Released earlier today, the new spot sees Sam Wilson in an electronics store, recapping the events of Avengers: Endgame and the five years he spent “snapped” out of existence. After a dramatic moment in which Sam recounts all the things he’s missed, the hero indicates that video games are also included on that list....

The sixth episode of Peacemaker, “Murn After Reading,” is now streaming on HBO Max and it features a whole lot of fun and excitement. The new DC series stars John Cena in the titular role, but he’s not the only character to love on the show. Peacemaker sees Cena’s character joining forces with a new team in order to take down an alien species dubbed “butterflies.” His fellow teammates are played by Danielle Brooks (Leota Adebayo), Freddie Stroma (Vigilante), Chukwudi Iwuji (Clemson Murn), Jennifer Holland (Emilia Harcourt), and Steve Agee (John Economos)....

PlayStation fans are reporting that some old digital games are no longer playable on older consoles. PlayStation has raised a number of concerns about how it will sustain its older platforms over the years. In 2021, Sony announced it would be closing down the PS Vita and PS3 PlayStation Stores, leading to a ton of backlash from players. Even though it’s a platform that is now two generations old, many were concerned that there would be tons of games that essentially become lost to time....

The Pokemon Company will release a Pokemon Presents on its YouTube channel tomorrow morning, revealing additional information about the franchise’s upcoming plans. The upcoming video presentation will be released on Friday, February 26th at 10 AM ET. No other information was provided, but it is expected that this presentation will include the announcement of new games and other plans for the Pokemon franchise’s 25th anniversary. Traditionally, the Pokemon Company uses Pokemon Presents to announce main series games and other upcoming projects....

A PS4 and PS5 console exclusive, or, more specifically, a former PS4 and PS5 console exclusive, is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. PlayStation is known for its incredible exclusive games. On PS4, it released some of the generation’s best games in the form of Bloodborne, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, The Last of Us Part II, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Marvel’s Spider-Man....

Matt Riddle’s unlikely partnership with Randy Orton continued on Monday, as “The Original Bro” used Orton’s RKO finisher to defeat Xavier Woods on Raw. Riddle has been trying to convince Orton to form the tag team R-K-Bro for weeks, and the pair have actually started winning matches as a pair. Riddle has even shown signs of turning heel, siding with Orton in a dispute with The New Day. The second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian came to an end in December and featured a mind-blowing cameo. Twitch’s report function used to call out offensive or inappropriate content on the streaming platform is getting a facelift to give users a “more intuitive reporting process,” the Twitch team said this week. The revised reporting process follows a commitment from Angela Hession, the VP of global trust and safety at Twitch, from late last year that said changes like this would be implemented following a crackdown on hate raids and other problematic occurrences within the platform....
