A new Call of Duty: Warzone audio leak seemingly confirms that a new “Plague” mode will see a huge battle between players and zombies over Verdansk. The audio was shared by the @ZestyCODLeaks Twitter account, and features multiple minutes of audio detailing the conflict. From the audio, we can discern that players are fighting for Verdansk, while trying not to become infected by the undead. The audio also makes mention of a nuke being inbound for Verdansk....

Transgender superhero and Supergirl fan-favorite Nia Nal / Dreamer is about to get her own graphic novel. The news was announced by DC Comics on Thursday, following initial reviews for next week’s DC Pride 2022 anthology, which has an introduction penned by Dreamer actress Nicole Maines and reportedly confirms more Dreamer stories. As DC revealed, Maines will be penning the Dreamer graphic novel with art by Rye Hickman, whose work includes SFSX and Lonely Receiver....

Dungeons & Dragons’ first 2021 product will be an anthology of short mystery adventures centered around the iconic library Candlekeep. Earlier today, Dungeons & Dragons announced Candlekeep Mysteries, an anthology book containing 17 adventures. Each adventure will start with the players finding a book in Candlekeep that draws them into some sort of mystery. Each adventure is intended as a standalone one-shot, meant for DMs looking to jump into an adventure with minimal prep needed....

Hidden Path Entertainment is hiring staff to make an open world Dungeons & Dragons video game. Last week, Hasbro confirmed that Hidden Path Entertainment was one of several video game developers working on Dungeons & Dragons products. Hidden Path then provided additional details about their upcoming D&D video game when they posted several job positions for an “AAA, third-person, open-world fantasy RPG” set within the Dungeons & Dragons franchise. The positions include a graphics programmer, a lead graphics programmer, a senior technical artist, and a writer....

After a number of delays and setbacks, Indiana Jones 5 officially wrapped production earlier this year, but for anyone anticipating an official look at the film anytime soon, director James Mangold took to Twitter to confirm that it’s a bit too soon to expect such a reveal. Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal was moved to tears when Kevin Feige told Sony that they wanted to collaborate. The story comes courtesy of The Story of Marvel Studios: The Making of the Marvel Cinematic Universe by Tara Bennett and Paul Terry. Cody Rhodes was seen selling a shoulder injury on this week’s AEW Dynamite following a tag team match against Peter Avalon and Cezar Bononi. Rhodes and tag partner Lee Johnson still picked up the win, but Arn Anderson indicated in his post-match Coach’s Corner segment that something was wrong with Rhodes’ shoulder. “The Enforcer” stated Rhodes “dinged his shoulder” during the match, and the interview cut to a shot where Rhodes landed shoulder-first on an overhead suplex from Bononi....

Film editor David Brenner passed away this week at the age of 59. Heavyweights of the industry like Zack Snyder and Roland Emmerich shared their memories of working with the talented technician. Others joined in too. Just this year, Brenner was hard at work on Avatar’s long awaited sequel with James Cameron. In the past, the editor had won Oscars for his work with Oliver Stone in 1990, specifically Born on the Fourth of July....

Netflix is bringing Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man to the streaming service next month. In their released films for June, eagle-eyed fans spotted The Amazing Spider-Man on the list for the first day of the new month.
