Eiichiro Oda has been making the rounds lately thanks to revealing the fact that his legendary Shonen franchise of One Piece is set to end within the next five years, bringing to a close the journey of Monkey D Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates, and the mangaka has revealed which Devil Fruit would go to the Straw Hats that don’t currently have powers from the bizarre fruit! With Luffy managing to increase the powers that he received thanks to the Gomu Gomu No Mi, the Straw Hat Pirates could use even more power as they attempt to navigate the environment of Wano!...

One Piece has unveiled some beachy new cover art for the newest chapter of Eiichiro Oda’s original manga series! With the massively popular manga franchise now celebrating 25 years of running in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, each new chapter of the series is much more integral than ever as the climax of the final fight between Luffy and Kaido is increasingly closer. But with all of the intense action going down in each new chapter of the series, Oda is still having a lot of fun exploring different pockets of time for each of the characters outside of the actual canon....

The Boondocks is coming back in 2022 as confirmed by series creator Aaron McGruder on Instagram. Fans have been wondering about the status of the show’s return since the coronavirus pandemic began. HBO Max knew they had an audience for the show when the service launched. But, Adult Swim’s order of 24 episodes would have to wait until next year. Scheduling is at least consistent now with this reveal. Not a lot is known about a proposed 50 minute special that was also in the works....

Seth Rollins was on the receiving end of an attack by a WWE fan this week during the latest Monday Night Raw episode inside Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The fan tackled the former WWE Champion as he was making his way up the entrance ramp following a beatdown of Finn Balor. The tackle was shown on the broadcast before cameras quickly cut away, though more angles from fans taking videos show he was quickly swarmed by referees and security before being escorted away....

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has come out in support of Sony Santa Monica, the developer of God of War Ragnarok, after the team began receiving harassment. God of War Ragnarok is one of the most anticipated games of 2022 as its predecessor was one of the most acclaimed PlayStation 4 games, even garnering the coveted Game of the Year award in 2018. The sequel was announced in 2020 with a 2021 release window, but it was eventually delayed to 2022....

Call of Duty makers Activision have cut ties with Jeff Leach, the voice actor behind Ghost, over recently surfaced comments that are equal parts sexist and shocking. Elon Musk says that his Twitter deal won’t move forward until the company can prove that less than five percent of accounts on the platform are “spam accounts.” As the Tesla frontman has been dancing around the social media company and taking over for almost a month now, here comes another snag. Famed comedian and actor Gilbert Gottfried has passed away at the age of 67. Actor Jason Alexander shared the news on his Twitter account with the message, “Gilbert Gottfried made me laugh at times when laughter did not come easily. What a gift. D23 decided to give Jungle Cruise fans a look at how they upgraded the ride at Disneyland. The movie starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt is rapidly approaching and the company is pulling out all the stops to show off the picture. One of the underrated parts of the rollout is all the work that Imagineers have done to retool the ride. It’s a bit of a classic at Disneyland, so there were some changes that needed to be undertaken for a while now....

A NieR: Automata livestream was announced this week to celebrate the game’s fifth anniversary. This stream is scheduled to take place on February 13th, the organizers said, and is being referred to so far simply as the “NieR: Automata 5th Anniversary Live Broadcast.” Beyond news of the time, date, and where it can be watched, not much else was said about the stream, btu it was confirmed that we’ll hear of new information pertaining to NieR: Automata as well as some answers to questions asked by the community....

In honor of the fourth episode of Peacemaker, “The Choad Less Traveled,” hitting HBO Max this week, James Gunn and some of the show’s cast took to Twitter last night for a watch party. Over the course of the episode, Gunn spent some time talking about Freddie Stroma, who plays Adrian Chase, the sociopathic costumed killer known as Vigilante. Gunn revealed that he asked Elizabeth Banks to verify whether or not Stroma was an “as*hole” before agreeing to cast him....
