Activision has announced that 350,000 players have been banned for “racist names and toxic behavior” across Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Call of Duty: Mobile. These measures were taken through a review of the player-name database, and from reports provided by players. While the bannings should prove to be a great first step towards building a more welcoming environment in all of the publisher’s Call of Duty games, Activision has also announced a number of other plans to fight back against racism, sexism, harassment, and other forms of toxicity....

A classic Disneyland ride could be shut down for a lengthy period of time due to possible flooding. Earlier this month, Disneyland officials closed down “it’s a small world” due to an accidental flooding issue, caused when technicians were re-filling the ride’s waterways after adding holiday decorations. Some of the machinery for the ride was damaged due to the flooding, leading to Disneyland not opening the ride to kick off its annual holiday transformation last week....

The CW has released a new poster for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The series is currently in its seventh season on the network and while traveling through time protecting history from various issues and anomalies is just part of the job for the heroes, the season has found them in uncharted territory of sorts. After saving the world from an alien invasion, the Legends ended up stranded in the past when the Waverider was blown up by a second Waverider leaving them with no way home - and no way of knowing if they’re messing up the timeline themselves....

Wizards of the Coast has released a new Dungeons & Dragons supplement detailing how players can build their own Feywild domain of delight. Earlier today, Wizards of the Coast released Domains of Delight: A Feywild Accessory on the DMs Guild. The new supplement provides players with guidelines and tips for creating a Domain of Delight, a sequestered realm of the Feywild ruled over by an archfey. These domains match the emotional state of their archfey and act as a parallel to the Domains of Dread found in Ravenloft....

Someone is paying an elaborate Rick and Morty joke on Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 director James Gunn. In what is now (at the time of writing this) an active investigation being directed over Gunn’s Twitter feed, the filmmaker keeps tracking a set of Rick and Morty keychains that keep getting added to the stand for his video monitor of the production and takes. High-Rise Invasion is hyping its upcoming release with Netflix in a bloody new trailer! Tsuina Miura and Takahiro Oba’s High-Rise Invasion is one of the many major anime licenses coming to Netflix through the rest of the year, and it’s violent death game is one of the key reasons the original manga release of the series had been so successful. With the series finally getting its anime due, the series has dropped a new trailer teasing some of the extreme and bloody action that will be at the center of the series....

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the release of the debut installment, the four-film Indiana Jones franchise is heading to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray this fall, complete with special features that dive deep into bringing the series to life. Despite many of these features having previously been released on home video, being able to witness the iconic adventures in the highest definition possible will surely feel like an all-new experience....

League of Legends’ Rammus is getting a new ultimate ability in a small update planned for the champion soon, Riot Games announced this week. The new ultimate will be called “Soaring Slam,” and while it’ll retain effects from the Tremors ultimate the champion currently has, it’ll gain some new effects that allow Rammus to better engage on his enemies. Another of Rammus’ signature abilities, his Puncturing Taunt, is similarly being updated to account for the new ultimate’s power....

Marvel fans got an awesome look at some of the MCU memorabilia in Kevin Feige’s office this week. Asad Ayaz, the president of marketing for Walt Disney Studios tweeted a picture of all the spoils. In the snapshot, fans can see a bust of Iron Man, an Ant-Man helmet, and a replica of the Mark 1 armor. But, one thing that a lot of people especially loved was a hoodie with all the MCU films to date listed on the back....

Far Cry as a series has taken video game players through a number of insane worlds over the course of it’s history, but one of the most insane was definitely the world of Blood Dragon, which was a spin-off of Far Cry 3 and focused on a synth-pop, neon world of the future. Now, during Geeked Week, Netflix has announced that the streaming service will be revisiting this world with a new anime series via Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, which will follow a new protagonist navigating this technologically advanced world spawned from Ubisoft’s universe....

This year’s Royal Rumble event saw Brock Lesnar enter as the No. 30 contestant on Saturday night and win the 30-man match by eliminating Randy Orton, Bad Bunny, Riddle, Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre to become the last man standing. But “The Beast” wasn’t always picked to win the match, as a number of reports have since emerged regarding how chaotic planning this year’s Men’s Rumble turned out to be. PWInsider initially reported on Sunday that the plans for the match changed 20 times in the days leading up to the show, randing from the order of entrance to who got eliminated when to who got a standout moment at some point during the match (most of the participants did not)....

WandaVision’s wild fan theories got a mention on SNL this week. A fan favorite sketch called “What’s Wrong With This Picture” with Kenan Thompson absolutely done with the contestants in the fake game show. As they tried to guess about a picture that had letters instead of numbers on a clock, someone said that the doctor in the image was trying to explain the plot of the hit Disney+ series. Poor Kenan was beside himself as they missed his easy clues....

Spy x Family has finally released Episode 5 of the anime, and is honoring the newest episode’s launch with a special new poster! Tatsuya Endo’s original manga franchise is now bigger than it ever has been thanks to the successful debut of its official anime adaptation this Spring, and that dominance is only seeming to continue with each new episode of the series. Beadle & Grimm’s, the tabletop game company best known for producing premium boxed sets of Dungeons & Dragons adventures, has announced plans to release two boxed sets of goods to accompany the upcoming Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty set for Magic: The Gathering. Earlier today, actor Matthew Lilliard (one of the co-owners of Beadle & Grimm’s) announced that the company would release both a Platinum Edition and a Silver Edition for Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, the first Magic: The Gathering set due to be released in February 2022....

Kaiju No. 8 is making a major shift to its release schedule! Naoya Matsumoto’s original manga series has steadily taking over since its first release through Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ app last July, and it’s been releasing at quite a steady schedule. The series previously held a schedule of dropping a new chapter to the app once every three weeks, but as some fans have seen through the releases there had been some notable delays in between chapters....

Mega Man is easily one of the most recognizable video game characters to ever hit consoles, having first arrived on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987, and it seems as if the “blue bomber” has re-emerged once again as artwork from his canceled anime series has surfaced! Though Megan Man did have his own animated series in the 1990s that followed the gun touting protagonist squaring off against Dr. Wily and his hoard of evil robots, this anime was originally set to give us a brand new take on the robotic warrior that has become a staple in video game history!...
