Vince McMahon made headlines on Wednesday afternoon when The Wall Street Journal broke the news that WWE’s Board of Directors was officially investigating his alleged actions of paying a former WWE employee $3 million as part of a deal to keep her quiet about an affair the two had while she was in the company. The investigation has since uncovered more deals McMahon has allegedly made involving nondisclosure agreements and hush money, covering up his own actions as well as those of WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis....

Tom Taylor, who co-created Superior Iron Man, is speaking out after the character began trending following the new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer’s debut during Sunday’s Super Bowl game. The trailer includes a shot of a figure wreathed in orange-red energy. Fans examining the scene believe there’s the outline of an armor suit underneath, leading them to believe this is an Iron Man variant. Specifically, they believe it is the Superior Iron Man played by Tom Cruise, who had been considered for Tony Stark in the 1990s before Robert Downey Jr....

Alexa Bliss quickly defeated Eva Marie in their match at WWE SummerSlam, and Doudrop celebrated the WWE Superstar’s loss in a magnificent fashion. One of the more peculiar stories building in the last few weeks following WrestleMania 37 has been Alexa Bliss’ fiendish like persona taking on various members of the Women’s Division. The CW’s crop of DC Comics shows have evolved in some interesting ways over the years, with household names and lesser characters both getting the spotlight. Ray Fisher says that he wants the former director of The Flash to helm the Cyborg solo movie. Zack Snyder’s Justice League saw the actor take a much more prominent role in the DCEU. Fisher told ComicBook Debate that Rick Famuyiwa would be his selection to continue Victor Stone’s story in the next theatrical adventure. That seems like it would be a popular decision as fans love the director and have taken a shine to Fisher throughout his stint in the DCEU....

Johnny Gargano did not appear at AEW Dynamite: Beach Break on Wednesday night, despite many fans predicting online that the former NXT Champion would be jumping to the young promotion while it was in his hometown. Gargano, one of the most decorated wrestlers in the history of WWE’s NXT brand, allowed his WWE contract to expire last month as he chose to take a break from wrestling as he and Candie LeRae prepare for the birth of their son next month....

Last month, Build-a-Bear released the first two options in a collection based on the Nintendo Switch game Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Resident Evil’s new reboot has finished filming and that means fans are one step closer to being out in the wild. During PlayStation’s Resident Evil showcase, the creative team revealed that they’re trying to get that CGI together for the monsters. Sesame Street is introducing its first Asian American muppet and it’s doing so with the help of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu. On Monday, Sesame Workshop announced the introduction of Ji-Young, a Korean American muppet who will make their debut on See Us Coming Together: A Sesame Street Special that will debut on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25. The special will air on Cartoonito on HBO Max, PBS Kids, and Sesame Street’s YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram....

The Prince of Tennis has released character posters for its new 3DCG animated movie! Following an anime comeback exploring some of the series’ best matches in the past couple of years, Takeshi Konomi’s original manga series will be coming back with a brand new revival film, Ryoma! Rebirth Movie The Prince of Tennis. Originally announced for a release Spring 2020 in Japan before being delayed to its new release in Fall 2021, the film was surprisingly confirmed to be a 3DCG animated feature – a first for the franchise....

Welcome to Earth, the upcoming National Geographic original series hosted by Will Smith has both a new trailer as well as a release date. On Friday as part of Disney+ Day, the streaming service revealed that the once-in-a-lifetime adventure around the world to explore Earths’ greatest wonders and reveal its most hidden secrets will debut on December 8th. The new trailer also shared for Disney+ Day offers up new footage from the six-episode series, showing the full range of Smiths’ adventures and a sampling of the wonders he witnesses along the way - including one so breathtaking he declares he’s “putting it in a movie”....
