There’s no word when Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s final DLC character will be revealed, but we do know that the game is set to release a new Spirit Board event to commemorate the 20-year anniversary of the Nintendo GameCube. The special new event is set to go live on September 10 and then last three days and during it, you will get extra gold when defeating its related spirits, which include spirits from Animal Crossing, Eternal Darkness, Pikmin, Super Mario Sunshine, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and more....

Nintendo released a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD this week to show off a couple of the enhancements and other changes that players can expect from the HD version of the fan-favorite Zelda game. Things like skippable cutscenes, the ability to fast-forward through dialogue, and other features will be welcome additions for returning players who’ve already played the original while the chance to get in-game help with actions will assist those who are just now playing for the first time and get stuck....

The 2022 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony kicked off after tonight’s WWE SmackDown, and the 2022 class of inductees included Vader, Queen Sharmell, The Steiner Brothers, and The Undertaker, as well as Shad Gaspard, who was this year’s Warrior Award recipient. After a night of lively moments, it was time for The Undertaker (Mark Calaway) to take the stage, and inducting him was none other than WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. McMahon said that even including holidays this was his favorite night of the year, and he said thank you to all of the inductees....

WandaVision keeps upping the ante with each and every episode, as the inaugural Marvel Cinematic Universe Disney+ series gives fans quite a lot to take in. Its central mystery – exactly what is going on with the sitcom-inspired “Westview anomaly”, and what role Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and The Vision (Paul Bettany) have in it – has only gotten more and more complicated, especially as details begin to be revealed about the series’ supporting cast....

WWE officially confirmed two more matches for this weekend’s WrestleMania 37 event, both of which center around the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Night One will now feature a Tag Team Turmoil Match comprised of Lana & Naomi, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke, The Riott Squad, Natalya & Tamina and Carmella & Billie Kay (who were not apart of the official announcement but were listed on WWE.com) and the winners will move on to Night Two to face Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler in a title match....

Not too long ago a report came out that WWE NXT star Zoey Stark was going to have to undergo surgery after an injury at Halloween Havoc, and now Stark has confirmed the injury and that she underwent surgery for an ACL and Meniscus tear, and the good news is she is already in recovery. She also made sure to let the world know that when she returns to the ring, she will be aiming for those who injured her, which would be Toxic Attraction’s Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, and Jacy Jayne....

Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner came up short in trying to win the NXT Tag Team Championships from Imperium at Sunday’s NXT WarGames pay-per-view. Based on multiple reports that have dropped in the past week (including one right before the show started), many fans assumed this would be O’Reilly’s last NXT match as his contract is on the verge of expiring. But after taking the pin, Wagner tried to blindside O’Reilly with a lariat only to get blasted with kicks from O’Reilly, who then flashed the Undisputed Era hand sign....

Make-A-Wish America has revealed the 2021 class of Chris Greicius Celebrity Award winners, and this year’s class includes WWE superstar and SmackDown Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. The Chris Greicius Celebrity Award is named after Chris Greicius, a 7-year-old boy who wished to be a police officer, and that inspired the creation of Make-A-Wish in 1980 Since then Make-A-Wish has continued to grant wishes to all around the world, and this award goes to those who have played a pivotal role in further the Make-A-Wish mission by providing their time, talent, and influence to help grant wishes and help to fundraise for the organization....

Marvel’s Black Widow movie finally made its way into the world earlier this month, and the ramifications of the solo film are still being felt across the franchise. In addition to adding a pivotal story for Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), the film introduced an array of new supporting characters, many of whom have already become bonafide fan-favorites. Among them is Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), a fellow Red Room agent who Natasha sees as a sister....

One of Netflix’s breakout hits has been renewed for Seasons 2 and 3. If you’ve logged into the platform recently, you could not miss Heartstopper up near the top of the layout. Series creator Alice Oseman has provided the streamer with a pop culture juggernaut and there will be so much more to come. Netflix’s Top 10 has Heartstopper somewhere in the mix in over 50 countries. On social media, you can’t help but see fan posts about the warm reception for the show....

A new Chivalry 2 update is live on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X alongside patch notes. And unlike some patch notes, the new patch notes provided by Torn Banner Studios go into detail what exactly is changing and what exactly is being added to the game. Unfortunately, the update doesn’t come with a huge collection of new content, but it does make a lot of much-needed fixes and improvements that will go a long way....

Fans of District 9 have been wondering about a sequel for years now. Director Neil Blomkamp told people waiting on District 10 that they’re still trying to get that script together. In a conversation with Dexerto, the filmmaker explained that “I am still working on it… the answers is it’s within the near future.” In this outing, he would be looking towards an event in American history for inspiration rather than Africa....

When Marvel Studios released the official trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness during the Super Bowl earlier this month, there were plenty of exciting moments for in said trailer, but one that made the internet collectively lose its mind. While the trailer featured a few different variants of familiar characters, including multiple versions of Doctor Strange, it was the voice of a character that thrilled fans like nothing else: a scene in the trailer revealed Benedict Cumberbatch’s protagonist taken in front of a group of mysterious figures and one of them just so happened to sound an awful lot like Patrick Stewart, the legendary actor who played Charles Xavier in the X-Men films....

AEW star Max Caster found himself in the center of controversy last week, making jokes about Simone Biles, the infamous Duke lacrosse rape case and the validity of COVD-19 rapid testing during The Acclaimed’s entrance for an episode of AEW Dark. Mario Kart Tour continues to see strong support from Nintendo, and the company has now released version 2.9.1 of the game on iOS and Android devices. The latest update doesn’t offer any changes that are too substantial, but it does resolve a pair of issues in the game, while simultaneously getting things ready for tours in the future. The mobile racer’s frequent tours have proven to be a great way to keep players invested in the game, and it seems that won’t be changing anytime soon!...

A new Battlefield 2042 leak has players of the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X game ready to quit. The latest Battlefield game has been out for over a month, and it’s been a messy several weeks for DICE and EA. Not only has Battlefield 2042 been plagued with bugs and performance issues, but it has content issues. On Reddit, Twitter, YouTube, and elsewhere, it’s been highlighted how much content – like basic features – from previous installments is missing....

Pokemon Go developer Ninatic has revealed that it is currently working to revert bans and punishments that have been given to players incorrectly. The developer addressed the issue on Twitter earlier tonight, while also offering an apology to players for the inconvenience. At this time, it’s unclear exactly how many players might have been accidentally banned or suspended, but it seems that many players have contacted Niantic about the issue. Apparently, the change will be implemented regardless of whether or not the player reached out about the problem....

One psychologist is advising against letting kids watch Squid Game. Dr. Robin Gurwitch from Duke University Medical Center told People Magazine that kids should not be watching the Netflix mega-hit. “This is not something young children should be watching. There’s nothing redeeming or positive here for children,” she said. That seems pretty succinct. But, there was also a larger conversation about the mental effects that violence and other subject matter could have on children....
