Kohei Horikoshi’s young hero franchise has been in the midst of one of its most productive and successful Summer seasons yet as not only is the fifth season of the anime nearing its final string of episodes soon, but a third feature film, World Heroes’ Mission, is already hitting some major box office milestones with its release in Japan....

Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball franchise is one of the most popular action series to ever come out of the pages of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and if there’s any creator out there who knows the kind of recognition series creator Akira Toriyama dealt with it’s Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto. Naruto’s a series with a ton of success in its own right, and is even enjoying a monthly sequel manga series as well....

It’s been several years since Orphan Black wrapped up its run on BBC America and Space, but the world of Clone Club is still living on, in part thanks to Orphan Black: The Next Chapter. The series hails from the audio entertainment company Realm (formerly Serial Box), and has become a smash hit on podcasting platforms over the past year. Luckily, it looks like the story of Orphan Black’s “sestras” is far from over, as Realm has officially greenlit Orphan Black: The Next Chapter for a second season....

Paramount+ is going to bring back a fan-favorite series for season 2: MTV’s The Real World Homecoming! The first season of The Real World reunion series saw the cast of the original Real World: New York reunite decades after helping to pioneer America’s reality TV genre; in this latest announcement, ViacomCBS and MTV have revealed that The Real World Homecoming will next see the cast of Real World: Los Angeles getting back together!...

The voice behind Cynthia commented on the Sinnoh League Champion’s return to the Pokemon anime with the newest episode of Pokemon Journeys: The Series! The newest iteration of the anime has broken the franchise trend of seeing Ash only exploring the newest region introduced in the video games, and instead has seen Ash (and new hero Goh) making their way through every past region seen in the anime thus far. Ash has come face to face with some familiar faces from the series’ past along the way, so fans had been holding out hope that the fan favorite champion Cynthia would show up in the new anime as well....

The legendary anime director Hideaki Anno has recently brought the film series, Rebuild of Evangelion, to a close and the prolific creator is leaving behind the world of NERV for the time being to enter the world of “Shin”. Having brought to life Shin Godzilla, the latest Japanese film that gave us a terrifying take on the lizard king, Anno is diving into new takes on Ultraman and Kamen Rider, with a new teaser trailer being revealed for the latter that will see Anno giving fans a new take on the Sentai fighter who first premiered in 1971....

Witter Entertainment will release a super-limited print run of Castle Freak on VHS. Based on H.P. Lovecraft’s short story “The Outsider,” Castle Freak is a reimagining of the 1995 Full Moon Entertainment cult classic from Reanimator director Stuart Gordon. The remake, which debuted exclusively on Shudder in 2020, from director Tate Steinsiek, best known as a special effects artist on Law & Order and The Amazing Spider-Man. While the movie, which was originally released through Shudder as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic cutting short a planned film festival run, has found a physical release on DVD and Blu-ray since, a VHS release – even one as limited as the 100 copies that Witter Entertainment’s Broke Horror Fan label will be releasing – is especially sweet for Castle Freak since, like virtually every Full Moon movie ever made, it debuted on home video…and in 1995, that meant VHS....

After months and months of eager anticipation, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be swinging its way into theaters in just a few more days and while there has been no shortage of theories and speculation about exactly what fans can expect in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film, there’s one thing that has been clear since the very first trailer arrived back in August. A video shows Denzel Washington and Tyler Perry consoling Will Smith after the King Richard actor slapped presenter Chris Rock during Sunday’s 2022 Oscars broadcast. The comedian cracked a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, who suffers from alopecia. “Jada, I love you. G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see it,” Rock said when presenting the award for Best Documentary. Smith, who was awarded Best Actor for his role as Richard Williams in King Richard later in the ceremony, breached the stage and smacked Rock in the face before yelling at Rock to “keep my wife’s name out of your f—ing mouth....

Xbox announced this morning the new slate of video games coming to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service in May, and it includes popular titles like Red Dead Online, Outlast 2, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, and more. The first of these, Dragon Quest Builders 2, is set to join the subscription service tomorrow, May 4th, with the vast majority of them coming to Xbox Game Pass on either May 6th or May 13th....

Weeks after DC announced that they would team with Webtoon for a slate of new titles on the digital-comics platform, Archie Comics is following suit, teaming with Webtoon to develop a new, digital series titled Big Ethel Energy. Hailing from writer Keryl Brown Ahmed and artist Siobhan Keenan, Big Ethel Energy showcases the Riverdale character as fans have never seen her before. The first three episodes of the series will launch exclusively on Webtoon on September 21, 2021 with new episodes of the series rolling out weekly on the platform....

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War got its first sizable patch of the new year this week with a new set of patch notes released on Thursday. The update aligned with the new schedule for playlist updates in Black Ops Cold War that’ll now happen on Thursdays which meant that there are some new modes to play in addition to changes made to existing modes. A few Scorestreaks were adjusted with some exploits being patched up as well, but aside from that, the patch notes show the latest update to be a pretty tame one....

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies mode has stories intertwined in its zombie slaying just like every other iteration of the Zombies mode from the past, so naturally, the game’s new Outbreak mode will similarly have some exposition for players to explore. Treyarch said on Friday it’s preparing to have players navigate those events further through the release of the mode’s “Main Quests” that’ll be spread out throughout the seasons....

Fall Guys developer Devolver Digital has released a new update for the game, which makes some changes to the game’s levels. Notably, the update actually removes two level variations: “the See-Saw level variation with ‘Vertical See-Saws’” and “the Fall Mountain variation with the spinner at the end.” The two were dropped entirely, as they were causing some issues in the game. Some players have already expressed disappointed that these levels were removed instead of being fixed....

James Gunn is one of the busiest filmmakers in superhero cinema. The director is putting the final touches on HBO Max’s Peacemaker at the same time he’s starting pre-production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. In fact, the helmer took to his Twitter account Sunday afternoon to share off a stack of the storyboard drawings he’s done for the highly anticipated Guardians threequel. While no actual frames or characters are visible in the image, Gunn’s storyboard stack is massive and, as the filmmaker himself puts it, covers but a fraction of the entire movie....

A hit Arnold Schwarzenegger movie reboot has dropped its first trailer, which you can watch below! Eraser: Reborn is a reboot of the 1996 film by Chuck Russell, which starred Schwarzenegger as John Kruger, a U.S. Marshall in the Witness Security Protection Program who specializes in “erasing” the identities of key witnesses for the government (Vanessa L. Williams) by faking their deaths. The film was another hit for Schwarzenegger in the mid-1990s – although critics were less kind to the film....

Matt Cardona defeated Joey Janela at The WRLD on GCW at Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday night. And as has become tradiition for all of Cardona’s big GCW matches, it had plenty of references to his old stomping grounds in WWE. He started off by making his way to the ring to Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” while Chelsea Green held a kendo stick, an obvious reference to ECW’s The Sandman, but he was wearing a red flannel with the words “F— Mick Foley” on the back and a t-shirt that read “If Cardona Wins We Riot” referencing the famous sign from John Cena vs....
