Anime heroes being dropped into magical worlds while hailing from worlds that are far more mundane is big business right now, with the genre known as Isekai giving fans some of the biggest series within the medium today. Series like Sword Art Online, Overlord, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and Log Horizon are just a few examples of big-time Isekai, and it seems that a fan-favorite series, Konosuba, has announced that it is set to return for a new season as well as a spin-off series, following the release of two seasons and a movie for the hilarious quartet of adventurers.
