Battlefield 2042 is in a rough spot, and it’s been in a rough spot since its messy launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. At launch, the game was plagued with bugs and performance issues, many of which continue to be a problem for the game. In addition to this, the game was missing a boatload of features from previous games. Since launch, DICE and EA haven’t done the game many favors, releasing a minimal amount of new content to keep the game competitive in a highly competitive space dominated by games with regular updates.
